How do I care for a leather handbag? Can I use products intended for leather car interiors? Or leather boots?
I have a couple of leather purses I bought from Ebay, & I'd like to know how to properly care for them. Do I use cleaners? Conditioners? How often should they be cleaned/conditioned? Thanks!!
No, they aren't suede. They are "pebbled leather" if that makes a difference.
You can buy a spray protectant at stores that sell leather wear. I used some on a leather jacket and it sheds water like a duck!

If it needs to be cleaned and isn't suede, you can use a barely damp cloth dipped in water and Murphy's Oil Soap. To simply maintain the leather, use mink oil.

Best product to use is la..zy leather a one step cleaner and protector specially designed for leather. If you use mink oil and it is an aniline style leather you will ruin it.

Check out Wilsons Leather at your closest mall. (or the email below) I bought a leather skirt (on sale ;O) last year & the leather conditioner & treatment I bought at the same time is good for everything!
Its $10 and will last me (Im guessing) 2 years.
*with any leather investment, really make it your own.
