1920’s Vintage Bags 1920's fashion focused on elaborate detail. The traditional 1920's vintage handbag is a classic handbag with a distinct oval shape and detailed embroidery or beading in the art noveau, flapper or art deco (20's-30's)styles that were in fashion at the time. Handbags were prior to this point, used as solely as a fashion accessory, it was this decade that we have to thank for the idea of bigger practical handbags.

The 60's fashion scene was certainly not frightened of colour and glitter either, as bright handbags were manufactured for a variety of looks, including the "mod" look and the hippy look. I can't remember if the size was listed online but the bag is approximately 9 by 5. It does have a pocket inside but it's an open pocket. It also has a shoulder strap but I didn't use it instead, I just tucked it into the open pocket. All in all it's a nice bag. A few people even asked me where I got it from. This is a keeper.
